Did anyone else who ordered this receive an Open Box return? On the page it was advertised as new, but when it arrived today the exterior Amazon box was in tip-top shape, but the interior Amazon Basics fan box had clearly been opened before and it even had the previous customers shipping label still on the side (including their name and address). Since this is Woot, I’m wondering if it was always supposed to be an Open Box item and was just labeled incorrectly on the product information?
The person picking orders at the warehouse probably got the wrong thing or it was put in the wrong place. It happens.
Hi there, if you haven’t already done so please reach out to Woot! Customer Service.
From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.
In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
Thanks! I sent them an email via the Woot app. Do you think it’s possible to get a replacement? I notice it’s no longer available on Woot, but it’s still available on Amazon… Not sure if that means it’s return for refund only, or if a replacement is still a possibility?
Well Woot is an independent subsidiary, so they can’t just grab whatever they want from Amazon’s warehouses. The CS reps are supposed to check for available stock. I think I’ve seen these for sale on here before though, so there’s always a chance.
