My 43 showed up today, not bad, especially for the stupid low price. TV looked brand new and works fine. It can’t compete with my 8k Sony but it’s a huge improvement over my Sisters previous Sony 42 2012 1080p set that still plays fine.
Got here reasonably quickly considering extended shipping time too. Anyone else that decided to jump in should be getting their sets soon.
My “extended” was more like two weeks (+/-?) but did finally arrive. Works and looks great.
I’m very confused by the “extended shipping time.” Am I supposed to add 7-10 days on top of what the estimate actually says? At checkout it says Amazon Prime members get free standard shipping and gives me a delivery estimate of 5-7 days from now. Am I just supposed to ignore that? The product page says "“EXTENDED SHIPPING TIME NEEDED. PLEASE TAKE NOTE This TV will need an additional 7-10 days for shipping.” Okay, so I add 7-10 days onto the 5-7 days?
It took two weeks to get here. It’s only $10 less than on Amazon directly, so my paranoia set in and I got from there. So far it works great except the Fire TV OS GUI is lame and clutters the home screen with mostly useless recommendations.
Yes, add on the shipping time. These TVs are in an Amazon warehouse that has limited outgoing shipment. Once they’ve met that quota, no more trucks can be brought in for shipping.
