Apple iPad Pro (2018) 11" Tablets

Apple iPad Pro (2018) 11" Tablets

Did Apple perform the refurbishing and are these eligible for AppleCare coverage? Thanks.

I have the same question, who certified the refurbishing?

AFAIK, not eligible for AppleCare…

I just purchased a brand new iPad Pro 11 256gb at a warehouse club for $100 more. The sale is over so the comparable new iPad Pro would be $200 more. The warehouse club only had the 256gb model. My DH is getting this for Christmas.

That said I purchased a 1T WiFi/cellular model from Woot in October and I’m very happy with my purchase. No AppleCare and the refurbished iPad only included a generic charger. I already have USB C chargers so that wasn’t an issue. But I saved a few hundred over buying new.

The iPad I received looks brand-new, no detectable scratches or dents. Works great, too. Shipping was very fast to Virginia, it was delivered almost a week earlier than expected. YMMV

Good morning. These are 3rd party refurbished. They are not eligible for Apple Care.

Will the wifi + cellular model work with verizon?

I see I must call Woot for a device with a Lithium Ion battery. Why?

There are a lot of shipping restrictions on lithium batteries and the box requires special labeling.

Is this in “like new” condition? And is the new Apple Pencil 2 compatible with this iPad?

Apple Pencil 2 is compatible.

Just chiming in as someone who bought one of these from the last time they hit Woot. I got the 256GB Wifi+Cellular model and it’s been great. Arrived in like-new condition with no defects to the case or screen whatsoever. If this thing was used it was used very gently as there weren’t even scuffs on the USB-C port. I think I paid 709, but honestly I think the 64GB model would have been just fine as it is 100 bucks cheaper and I don’t see myself ever putting 256GB on this thing. Hoping to get an Apple Pencil 2 from Santa so I can get the most out of this thing.
