Y’all seem to have an unGodly number of these things [they’re on here every other week]. Drop that price down more [ I can get these on the mothership for $5 more] and I’d buy a couple more just to store in a Faraday cage…
I will say this much. The battery life is pretty incredible. Bought one 3 years ago, played around for a couple months and in a box it went. Moved from South Florida to Tampa 2.5 years ago and last weekend, going through boxes in the garage and ran across it. Turned the knob and it came on, with almost full battery 
Reminder that it’s a violation of federal law to transmit from this radio without an FCC license, unless you limit your use of the radio to frequencies that do not require a license. If you don’t know what those frequencies are, you shouldn’t be buying this radio.
