I paid around 145 and i love the dam thing. This one on woot seems to be a fancy version of it. I can only imagine it works as well as the lower end model. I juice 3 carrots, half a cucumber, about 4 hand fulls of spiniach, a 1/4 of a lemon and then after its poured into a glass i add ginger ale (diet). It is fairly refreshing. clean up can be annoying but over all i have enjoyed juicing.
Edit: i have had mine for over 3 years with no problems.
I ordered this exact unit the last time it was up on Woot. I bought it to replace another one I got from Woot!, the Juice Fountain Plus.
The multi speeds really are useful IMO, and this unit is quieter and easier to clean compared to the other, mostly thanks to the shallower cover. The only downside is it’s also a bit messier, thanks to a poorly designed catch/spout piece on the bottom that doesn’t 100% drain the juice that goes into it. It’s pretty much impossible to disassemble and clean it w/o juice spilling out onto the counter, which is annoying.
Thanks for posting this, i was thinking of upgrading or having a back up for my juicemaster plus, but the juice staying in the lid would drive me nuts. It’s funny too, as the vids that i have seen of this model does show people tilting the machine forward in effort to empty it. That’s an issue that the cheap plus model doesn’t seem to have.

I purchased this last time on Woot and am very happy with it. I find the juicer very efficient, and it does indeed separate the juice from the pulp/fiber extremely well - the different speeds/settings do help with this. It is also fairly quiet as I expected from online reviews. Cleaning is easy, as long as I do it within a few hours of juicing; everything rinses off with water. The recipes that came with the machine were limited, and so I went online for most of mine, which I’m sure most people do anyway.

I haven’t had much of a problem with this - I let it run for a little bit longer after the fruit/veggie though. Maybe that’s it? Or my counter is slanted
I too am a little annoyed at some the reviews here. I don’t own this particular Breville, but I think I own one model down, retailing around $145, which would make this one a darn good deal. For the reviews and comments that speak of these being loud and messy?..it’s a juicer, people. For me, I juice every single evening. And after I juice my fruits and veg once, I take the remains and put them back into the juicer to get another cup or so of juice. Of course, this creates a mess, but I fully expect that. I simply disassemble the machine, rinse off the parts with warm water and put them in one of the drip racks to air dry…I put them in the dishwasher once per week. After I wipe down the machine with a damp cloth, I clean off the counter top and go on with my night. I just don’t know what you expect…for this thing to self-clean, perhaps? sheesh.
I own this one and paid about $250 for it a few years ago. We still have the same one and still works great.
Pulp is pretty dry and you can put a plastic bag in the collector to prevent the need to clean that part. To get the last little bit of juice out, you just tip it. Heck, you have to take it apart to clean it anyway. I clean it right away and I’m very careful when cleaning the mesh juicing part, but other than that, it’s really pretty easy to clean up.

If you think all Juicers are loud and messy I would really recommend looking at an Omega brand juicer. Quiet, low-rpm, and typically less foaming/separation in the juice.
Also? Much easier to clean. In fact weirdly enough I just tossed out our Breville into the trash for being obnoxious to clean and irritatingly loud.
Oh, and there’s a 10-15 year warranty on the Omegas…
man, i literally just bought one of these last week off of Amazon. In fact today was the first day i used it. It’s great, a bit to clean, but it makes short work of just about everything.
Wife is on a health kick, and why not. At this price and based on the Amazon reviews how can I go wrong? In for one. Question now is how can I use this as I’m brewing beer to introduce some new ingredient?

Berries and pumpkin come to mind immediately (not for the same beer, obviously).
I owned a Jack Lalanne juicer which was fine, albeit a little under powered. When I decided to upgrade I had settled on a Breville after doing quite a bit of research, and then I discovered masticating juicers. I ended up with an Omega j8006, which cost more than this one, but I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the juice and the ease of clean up. It’s also far quieter than my old juicer, and any centrifugal juicer I would imagine (if you are, you know, particularly sensitive to kitchen appliance noise). Slower but waaayyy better. Masticating is the way to go if you plan to juice alot.
