I own several Brother laser printers, color and monochrome. They have been excellent printers for my uses (home and Scouts). Wi-Fi can sometimes be a pain if you are not comfortable with troubleshooting networking when things don’t work, but directly connected (Ethernet or USB) they are pretty much flawless.

I refill all of my Brother toner cartridges with refill kits from inkowl.com, and there are many other choices out there. Not advertising for them, just wanted to point to a specific source that I have had success with over the years. I have also had reasonable luck with compatible cartridges from Amazon.

HOWEVER, I don’t think that saving a mere $30 is worth it for a refurb (Amazon sells this printer new for $190), so I would recommend passing and getting a new one if this model suits your needs.

Thumbs down. I had this at work and the HL L-2360 is a MUCH more capable Brother laser printer.
Wifi and 2 side capable.
Routinely goes on sale for $157-$170 at local Office Depot. Good no name toner refills are $14 on Amazon.

The printer is fine but the pricing is pretty poor. The Brother HL-L6200DW, one step up from this is only $5 more brand new at Staples. And this Staples regular price with no discounts.

This one also has WiFi and duplex printing. This is like a high capacity upgrade over the 2360.
