Does this come with a sensor? Or is it just the control and no sensor?

If you mean the sensor to tell if the door is blocked, I would say no. Those are already on the door track. What sensor did you mean?

The reason I phrase it that way is my wall unit has a motion sensor (like an outdoor floodlight) that turns on the light when you walk into the garage.

This one probably doesn’t have that either.

You know what? Let’s just say no, no sensor.

It looks like you get the wall switch/receiver and a clicker for your vehicle.

Description of what is in the picture. The large one is the control unit and the smaller one is the tilt sensor you attach to the top of your garage door. I have this and it works fairly well.

Thanks!

It’s actually cheaper to buy 2 of these kits than to buy a second sensor for the door.

Each hub can control 2 doors.

Does this require a subscription to work?

I didn’t have to. Just a login for the app.

Is this new or refurbished?

Does this work with Alexa?
(Amazon Lock does not need Alexa.)

There are some articles on the Googles that say maybe. Best to check those out first.

As TT mentioned, check for yourself, but it looks like it (sorta) works with Alexa…Not directly, but through IFTTT controls that are a separate service…

I’ve had one for -6 months. Works great. I have a schedule setup to close at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, and 12:00 midnight in case I’ve left it open at night. Also, use Amazon Key Delivery for in the garage Amazon deliveries, let’s see a porch pirate bear get stuff out of there!

FYI: I have a Chamberlain garage door opener so the same set-up. I have an alert to tell me if they door has been open more than 30 minutes and if the door is opened after 10:30pm.
