Classic Cat Trees - Your Choice

How true a green is the tree? The photo looks teal-ish to me.

Thanks!

We didn’t get a sample of this but our photo looks pretty close to the others on the Interwebz.

Got a larger one a couple of months back and the kitten always uses it, including the hammock. Easy to put together.

They recommend getting something that is a different color than you carpet. That way they can differentiate. We had our cat for 9.5 years and he only would go after the carpet maybe 6 or 7 times a year. And I think he did it on purpose when he was mad at us.

It’s as tight as I could get it. To me it seems more like the natural sway something that tall on just two legs will have, not necessarily a structural issue. It’s never given the indication it might topple over.

It could just be I need to take another crack at the screws though. Either way it’s a good product IMO.

For people worrying about the lack of carpeting. The rope is actually much better for your cat’s claws, and to a small extent will prevent them from destroying your carpet. The vertical scratching surface is also good for your cat’s flexibility. And it’s adorable to watch a kitty stretch as well.

We just adopted a 9mo Maine Coon mix. She could use one of these, because my 14yo (nearly 15) cat doesn’t want to share our existing cat tree. Any chance you can offer this again next week? Usually I would have the funds, but my son’s bday party took a big chunk out of my budget.

That big gold button is throbbing. Better make up your mind quickly!

Have two trees purchased through Woot from Amarkat, I don’t think they’re these specific models … Went up very easily and handles our 9, 12 and 14lb cats fine.

The one seems a bit wobbly at the top but they love going up there.

Also has a hammock at the bottom which they don’t use at all. I never thought of using that as a toybox for them, will try that tonight.

My wife and I are rescuers and fosters and have as much cat furniture as we do people furniture.

We have a half dozen or so of the Amarkat trees and several other brands. These hold up pretty well (as much as they can with 15-16 cats working on them!)

Be sure to tighten the bolts adequately and put the taller ones up against a wall for support.

Sigh! I guess I probably ought to get a couple more. Maybe one for the bathroom? LOL!

Damn all you beige-buying people!

Dammit, I missed all the beige ones. Dark green sucks.

Your cat will like the bright color just as much. And it will make a statement with your decor.

My sentiments exactly!

The statement that it makes is that I missed all the beige ones…

No, if I ordered anything in that hideous color my WIFE would make one hell of a statement!

Yep, this totally sucks I missed this. These cat trees are awesome, and I could definitely have used a second one  Never seen these on woot before…

We’ve sold cat trees quite a few times now.

I guess the early owners got the beige trees.

I had a cat tree years ago that tipped over and fell on my Siamese. It damaged his internal organs and blinded him. We had to put him down. :frowning: I will never buy a cat tree again.

ToeJamFootBall,
That is awful
I am sooo sorry to hear that. Bless your heart.
I understand why you would not want to buy or see another cat tree.
Take care of yourself, and again I am sorry to hear about your Siamese kitteh.
Vermin

Thank you, Vermin. That is kind of you to care. I really do hope that those that bought these will find a way to affix them to the wall or ceiling to make them stable.
