THIS IS WHY TT RULES. And also why she kept silent for a while, trying to dig around for the root cause, before saying anything else. Especially since she thought all orders were canceled, when really 25 of 27 were. She was trying in good faith to get that info as fast as possible.

Woot is a rare place where you can get real-time, unfiltered responses from employees of a retail site. It’s messy, ugly, and glorious, and TT is pretty much the only person keeping it from devolving into anarchy. (Unless she wants it to).

@ThunderThighs - Oh Glorious, All Knowing TT. Please do share with us peasants as to when we can expect shipment on the chrome Cubii pros?
Not going to lie, I’m a little worried as my card hasn’t been charged again (only show the original debit & then the credit from when I was refunded) AND I haven’t seen any updates added to my “Stuff Your Bought” section of my Woot account. Right now, it still shows the refunded part of my transaction, nothing new though.
And yes, I did get confirmation via email on Wednesday that I was one of the evil beasts that did get their dirty lil’ sandwich grabbers on the chrome Cubii Pros that you so fantastically found in the warehouse.

Any and all details you can share is greatly appreciated by me!!!

Hi there. I don’t have an exact date. They were waiting to hear from everyone first. Then figure out if they can automate the recharge/replacements or if they have to be done manually one-by-one. We fear the latter.

It should be soon though.

Hi is there an update on the shipping date of this item? I saw that i was recharged for the chome cubii but havent seen any changes on the shipment

Alright, y’all. I got my Cubii Pro last night & I set it up in my office early this morning…
I think I got a wonky one.
It’s supposed to blink while charging but my light is solid, as if it’s fully charged but per the app, the battery is not fully charged & the battery is about to die.
I unplugged it for a short while, since the light being solid is supposed to mean it’s fully charged.
Within 30 mins, the red “low battery” icon showed up on my Cubii.
It’s plugged back in but the battery light is solid, as if it’s charged. But again, the app says the battery level is low.
I’ve tried a different charging cable & outlet but alas, same issue.
I’ve reached out to Cubii to make sure I am not a complete moron.
Hopefully I’ll hear back soon & will update if I’m a moron (or if I got a defective Cubii Pro)

Cubii support (support@mycubii.com) responded & their suggestion worked! Below is their response, just in case anyone has issues with their Cubii Pro:

"Hi Angelina,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear about your charging troubles, that shouldn’t be happening!
My first solution is to try resetting the battery. To do so you disconnect and reconnect your battery. Here is a video showing you how to replace the battery, but the process is still the same. Cubii How-To: Reset or Replace Your Cubii Pro Battery - YouTube

If that doesn’t work, we can replace the battery to see if that is the issue. I just need your shipping address and serial number (found on the side of the box or bottom of the unit starting with F3Ax-xxx-xxxx)

If none of the above are the solution, then we can issue a replacement! :slight_smile:
