This is a rework of a late entry i did for the revolution contest.
My design “Overgrowth” is a metaphor for the demise of oil. Sooner oil will run out and hopefully be replaced by cleaner energy. The oil pump in the picture has not been used for years and is thus overgrown with ivy. The ivy also represents the new clean energy of the future and the hope that the environment will overcome oil pollution.
Sometimes the blues just isn’t the right color to express your mood. When faced with this dilema, a new genre must substitute: the greens! And as for the frog, well… he can’t help but be green, can he?
This is my third design on shirt woot ever… yay! third time’s a charm right? ![]()
again, i am not a photoshop pro…
this is from a photograph i took myself of a bike path in Dallas several years ago.
To me, Green represents tranquility and creative energy. I tried to show that here using the symbolism of green tea and a paint brush.
Living in Japan has given me a newfound appreciation for real green tea, it’s bitter and frothy and hard to get used to at first. But once you become accustomed to it, it’s easy to see why so many cultures have made tea and other soothing beverages a daily ritual. It makes you feel great when you take five minutes just to enjoy a cup of hot tea! Relaxing!
Enjoy!
Oh geez… too funny.

Nice! Can we get a close-up of the design?
green conceptually… green, like novice… In this olive army, there are clearly two novices, one who is doing pretty well, one who is still pretty, well, green.
I love this one. gmv.
i really want this one, so awesome!

green conceptually… green, like not ripe… green, like new… A graphic depiction of a new, green olive. And it’s mom. Or dad, for you fathers’ day celebrators out there.
Doesn’t the shirt itself have to be green?
