I’m getting older & trying to protect the hearing I still have.
I got these a while ago & they really do work. We wanted to check a new IMAX movie, but for some reason they crank the sound up to unbearable volumes in that theater. My wife & I tried these out & it was amazing. We could still hear everything, even the quiet whispers. Then the very loud sounds came, they were muffled to a much better loudness!

I use these for concerts and my auto racing. They do work. How much is hard to say as my hearing is already shot!
I like the idea, but I tried these at a Rolling Stones concert and I felt like they muted the sound in a similar way to any other ear plugs. I ended up pulling them out and dealing with the ringing ears.
