These being sold a month after “prime day” which was supposed to be A CraZY SAle price (60% off!!!) for 10% less is kind of aggravating.

I bought 2 of these. BOTH were defective. One was missing a base plate and screws were falling out. The other would not enter set up, or respond in anyway.

Save yourself the heartache and steer clear of these refurbs.

Hi there. If you haven’t already done so please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.

In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

We too have had seriously mixed results with Amazon Used devices - to the point where we wonder whether they are worth the effort, in spite of Woot Customer Service always being responsive and taking care of the problem.

If the various aggressively priced sales on new devices don’t cut it, watch for Amazon Recertified devices at the mothership. In our experience, they truly are near-new condition and with the full original warranty vs these Amazon Used devices with a 90-day Woot warranty.

Note to Woot: it might be time to ping mother to ask “What’s up with your trade-in inspection process??? Is there one?”
