Just as a reminder; these devices tend to get slow after ~2 years AND are pretty much an advertising platform for Amazon.
That is not true at all, they will stay fast forever if you know how to take care of them; you need to read up on keeping your stick clean and running fast!
Tell that to my ~2 year old firestick that now runs slower than crap AND has ads EVERYWHERE for Amazon based content. I can deal with ads in a streaming stick (like Roku does) but Amazon is really heavy handed.
In addition, there’s nothing I need to do to “take care” of my Roku stick and AppleTV; do I need to change the electrons in the device every 3,000 hours of streaming?
