Gotham Steel 7-Pc Pantastic Fry Pan Set

LOL!

You don’t wash cast iron either…

From what I understand, it’s a bad idea to use high heat on ceramic cookware, yet frying typically requires high heat. Has anyone who owns this used the fryer? If so, to what degree of success? And is the non-stick ceramic still non-stick afterwards?

another vote for this. the safe to 500 statement is troubling. Teflon is also “safe” until it gets to high temps. Heat isn’t ever evenly distributed; there will be hot spots which can go over 500 easily when trying to get to frying temps. I too will stick with my cast iron.

To the question about "is it safe on the grill?
NO. Because your grill will have areas that heat over 500 degrees.

But cast iron is great on the grill. I use my frying pan on the grill all the time, and then back on the stove.

(1) Recipe Book

So they count to recipe book as one of the 7 pieces?

I guess that makes this a 12 piece set. The box, packing material, warranty card, packing slip, well wishes from the manufacturer.

Good deal.

Sorry about that! The handles are stainless steel. We have updated the sale now.

What’s the condition of these sets? It’s not listed, and I also noticed the warranty is only 90-days from Woot, which typically indicates some kind of refurb.

Almost bought 1 but decided to check other reviews before purchase.

Never seen an Amazon review before with 50% 5 star and 25% 1 star reviews. My analysis is that 5 star reviews are shrills.

Gonna save $85:

Looks like these were just very recently introduced to the market, so take that $200 list price with a massive grain of salt.

I just got a marketing email for this link:

These are new.

I love these and the cleanup is as easy as they said it would be. Started with the largest fry pan and have added the 9 and 10 inch fry pans also. Tossed out some other supposedly non stick pans because I like these way better.
