Dagnabbit - bought it at NewEgg for $40 a short while back.

As this is the download version (what I purchased), they will give you links to both the PC and Mac versions. You’ll get one key, so my guess is it is good for either one.

H&R Block and Intuit should be avoided like a plague. These two companies lobby to keep us doing our own taxes when we don’t need to anymore. Never use these companies as doing so forces us to continue this bullshit of doing our own taxes that they already know the amounts.

if you make less than $75k a year you can use turbotax for free. Yes, you’re still using intuit’s product, but it’s a good option and you’re not giving them money

Can I download and activate on multiple computers? We’ve always been able to do that in the past when buying from HR Block but just want to be sure.

Hello all! Here is what I was able to track down on the download issue. Let us know if you have any more issues!

Go to the Stuff You Bought section, you can review the purchase details and instructions that are from the sale page by clicking on the item hyperlink.

These were the specific instructions regarding the download:

  • Step 1: Download the install file based on your platform (.dmg for MAC and .exe for WINDOWS).
  • Step 2: Use the file to install the software.
  • Step 3: Open H&R Block Software 2023.
  • Step 4: Enter provided activation code when prompted

The product key is the tracking number and will not actually result in a real delivery.

Can’t figure out the " * Step 1: Download the install file based on your platform (.dmg for MAC and .exe for WINDOWS)." part. Try to download form H&R block, can’t download there without buying there. No ling in tracking info or “Stuff I bought”.

There is no software download link in either the tracking number/activation code e-mail that I received or if I look in the order details in the “Stuff you Bought” section. While it is nice that I got the activation code quickly, it is useless without the actual software. Is there supposed to be another e-mail coming that will have the software download link?
