I bought an earlier model and am happy with the picture but had trouble using the side buttons to perform basic functions without a remote such as changing inputs. There is no ‘Enter’ button once you make a selection. The service dept. finally responded to my query and informed me the ‘Volume UP’ button functions as an ‘Enter’ button, although not labeled or referenced in the instructions. Now you know. The instruction manual is the same for every one of their TVs even though there are differences between them.
Totally worth it. I bought a 40" HiSense from Woot for $270 approx 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. My only minor quibbles are that it’s a tad slow to power up when you first turn it on and the built-in speakers aren’t very good but that’s typical. Great picture, nice clean, lightweight design and flawless operation under medium usage (2-3 hrs./day avg) for 2+ years.
Mine has a bit of a damaged screen.
A small white dot that glows when i turn it on.
It’s about the size of the head of a tack, but i guess i can live with it.
