Lots of additional information over at hisensecanada.com and hisense-usa.com
Hisense? Is that like Weedman’s secret power?
Dont be afraid of the brand name, I have heard some great things.
redacted.
The size of this tv is perfect for my bedroom!
I have a 32", i’ve always wanted a little bigger.
Why does woot always know what I’m trying to resist impulse buying?
What’s the dot pitch on this TV?
I was just a victim of a burglary 2 weeks ago and they stole my loved vizio 37 in. So I need a new one…but want a 3-D one…come on woot…put up the 3-D one! You offered a Hisense 3-D model awhile back…put that one up and I’ll buy!
If I were a girl tv with $250 to spend, I know where I would spend it.
You know Woot, someone should smack the TV sales guys. If you would kick the price of a TV up $15 and gave EVERYONE a year warranty, you would sell a lot more TVs a LOT faster.
I refuse to pay $38 to get a one year standard warranty and I am not going to dump $250 on a TV with a 90 day warranty. Use your heads. Make more money on every TV and sell them faster with a one year automatic warranty. Hmmmmm, too much to ask for?

I pinged the staff earlier to find out this info but couldn’t find any.
I also scoured the World of Google, but no luck there either.
The manufacturer’s site doesn’t give any info.
If anybody has any helpful info on this, please assist!
Your efforts will be met with a congratulatory virtual high five and a post made of quality?!
From what i gather, dot pitch was a measurement used more on CRTs (remember those?).
I found this on a discussion board:
The dot pitch is just the dimension divided by the number of pixels or phosphor dots (crt)- i.e. 750mm/1280pixels horiz and 450mm/768pixels vert (approx mm’s) - the use of dot pitch is more useful for CRTs which are not fixed pixel displays - the pixel count alone for LCDs, DLPs and Plasmas is a better comparison for those displays. see What is dot pitch? | HowStuffWorks

Normally refurb products have shorter warranty periods, do they not? Look at the refurb TVs on the egg, most if not all have 90 day warranties.
Anyone know what to expect from this TV with gaming? I once played on my buddy’s $1200 google tv and it had a very slight reaction difference from when you hit the controller and when it it would move on the TV. It made fast paced games like MW all but impossible to play…
How do I prevent that purchase?

What you’re looking for is response time. I don’t know what the Google TV’s response time is, but this TV’s is 8ms, which is pretty good. It should do fine for console gaming.
Quality is poor. Have lots of issues with this brand. Buyer beware. Theres a reason why its cheap. I believe hisense is made by China’s Huawei
I bought this same tv last year from Woot. No regrets at all. No problems what so ever. Good deal!
does this one have wireless internet built in and netflix app?
