I bot a 47" LG tv from them 2 weeks ago and both HDMI ports were broken…had to call LG to fix..they cant come for 2 weeks…im sitting here with a broken tv…Woot merchandise is refurbished and junk…and their return policy is the worst..I will never buy electronics from them again…buyer beware!

I bought the same TV. My came with the outer plastic housing completely cracked in half in one spot. The packaging for the TV from the refurb company was bare bones compared to what you’d expect from and OEM. I’m returning mine and will likely never buy refurb electronics from Woot again.
I think who refurbishes absolutely makes a difference. I own a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV which I bought refurbished 3 years ago, and it’s going strong, still like new. Mine was refurbished by a Panasonic authorized repair facility, who also tested it to ensure it passed specifications. I think it would go a long way for someone selling refurbished to say who refurbished/tested it.
The other issue is that this is NOT AN LED PANEL! The specs list say it is, but the description clearly states that it is an LED-backlit LCD TV, which is NOT THE SAME THING.
Sadly this is a common marketing thing, but it drives me crazy as it’s tantamount to false advertising IMO.

Any brand that advertises an “LED TV” is saying that the TV is edge-lit or back-lit by LED.
Maybe it is false advertising, but it is now the accepted term. Nobody is going to buy this TV expecting an OLED screen.

I own the 42" model from a previous woot. So far its been a great TV. I dont use it often but to watch movies with friends and occasionally playing games via xbox. I dont have any real complaints after 6 months of trouble free use. For the price it seems to be a great TV. The color, contrast and other visual aspects are on par with sets twice the price.

I bought the 40 inch Hisense a few weeks ago for $250… i said ‘why not?’ Well… now i have mixed emotions. Took it out of box, put it on its stand - and worked great. threw away the box. i mounted it. black screen. i literally just touch the back of it, and it turns back on. I thought - ‘no problem, i will exchange it’ - well… woot doesnt have any more, they will give me my money back - but now i will have a mount on my wall with no TV - and i dont have a box to return it with… so… do i find a box?.. and have these huge holes in my wall, or for $250…i cover up the holes in my wall with a tv… and just wait till black friday and replace it… (wife upset)

Hire someone to stand with their hand on the back of it while you watch it.

I bought a 40" refurb Hisense LCD panel from Woot, and it came dead on arrival - it wouldn’t play any video from any input (the screen seemed to be ok, judging from the “Hisense” logo that would come up when turning it on).
I then bought a 40" refurb Hisense LED LCD from Woot, and it worked okay for 2 days, and then developed a line of dead pixels (not even sure if that’s what they were - it was a very noticeable bright green vertical line in the middle of the screen).
If you can barely afford this, I’d wait or buy something more affordable that you have a better chance of knowing will get to you safely. Knowing my experience, even if your TV comes to you ok at first, the workmanship on these seems shoddy enough that it won’t last you very long.
I bought the 40" LED LG from Woot a week or so ago (I know, I’m a glutton for punishment) and so far so good! Seems like TVs are one place to go with a name brand.

I’ve never owned an LG tv set, but my experience with the performance of their refrigerators, their inability to repair it, and their pitiful service/support & lack of willingness to stand behind their product makes me never want to buy another LG product!
This is very tempting, I’d like to use this as my primary gaming monitor, I wouldn’t mainly use this to web browse and such, but the off times when I need to read text from it is my only concern. Think id have many issues using this as a monitor?
got this exact tv from walmart and LOVE IT… its a huge market in europe from what ive found review wise… way way better woot price than what i bought it for (2/3 price)
if i needed another and could afford it right now i would buy one…

Awesome! Does it have a Toslink optical audio out?
Got mine in today with 3 horrid lines all down the right side of the screen. Too good of a deal to simply get my money back on so I’m contacting the refurbisher in hopes of getting it fixed.
Very disappointed, now I’m probably going to have to wait another 2+ weeks until I get a working TV… frustrated.
Got mine today. Works great! I’ve never had an LED TV before, but it almost has a 3D look on some programs (although it is NOT 3D for the record). Sound is a bit low but great as my bedroom TV. I do really like the picture!
