They are the ONLY reason I get the emails. I love them! We even named our senior rescue after Mort and Matt (since he is the brilliant writer behind the monkeys). Mortimer Matthew Cesar Our last name.

As cute as fluffy bunnies

But I do admire the creativity of the writers. They deserve credit for sustaining
such a long running joke. :w_meh: :w_happy2:

I make sure to open the Woot app every single night just so I can read the Monkey Chat. Please give @notmatty a raise, right after @ThunderThighs gets hers.

I read them every day. some are hilarious. some are funny. some are cringeworthy. some are meh. I do like word play.

when faced with a tough decision, I choose indifference.

where is the meh option in the poll?

In one of the monkey chats they used a word I have never heard before. So I was actually educated but currently don’t remember what that word was. But I did look it up.

It wasn’t a simple word like troglodyte.

More like Horripilation or Avoirdupois.

It was probably Sphenisciformes

“penguin”

I even own two of the flying monkeys, and have them in a mutual embrace, atop my reading lamp.
This is next to my official woot reading chair.

Mort is the best! I had never had any kind of shepherd mix before, but he had come in with his brother who got adopted, but he hadn’t (makes me so sad to think they spent 9 years together since birth and are split up!) since, true to his name, is a bit of a mischief maker. Nothing bad, he just has a TON of extra energy! I still find it hard to believe he is a “senior”! It has been an adjustment for us, but so worth it! I hope your gal has been just as worrh it (we both know she has!). Hard to believe some people look past such amazing pups because of their age. We won the “adopt don’t shop” pup lottery with Mort!

Not sure what a “ratti” is, but he is an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He also goes by “Mort”. We only use his middle names when he is in BIG trouble, which is next to never, so sorry @notmatty, your part of his name goes greatly unused!

No idea what they are.

I too enjoy the chats amogst the monks!

I also have a pal named Morimer aka Morty. He was a stray who came upon me bearly alive :disappointed_relieved:. Somehow, we worked patiently together and he is going strong today! Feisty as ever! He’s one though Kitty.

I think there needs to be more drama and intrigue; we need to know which one has a Heart as Big as the Nebraska Sky?
