Not real sexy by any means, but a decent deal for a well balanced laptop (which is surprising for HP).

A decent deal. H.265 acceleration available on the built in GPU, no dongle needed for video output to projector. Decent speed and decent screen.

I use a fully-loaded one of these for work. The screen is truly awful. One of the worst I’ve ever seen, and definitely unforgivable in this day and age. Washed out, dim, awful colors, extremely narrow range of viewable angles. I use it docked 99% of the time, so it’s not a problem, but don’t buy this thinking you will enjoy photo/video editing, movie watching, or anything involving your eyes.

4375 is way too slow for me.

I’m curious if anyone else received one of these 840’s with a low-spec 1366x768 screen, instead of the 1920x1080 full-HD screen. Otherwise the one I received is as-specified in the sale, but I’m not a number-cruncher or dev, so the screen is the most important feature for me. Others’ experiences?

I’m very sorry for the monitor difference. Please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
