For this kinda price, you probably could just get an old model of phone for the same experience, seeing as this is also an android device
I had the sane thought, but it is interesting that this gives you both a headphone jack, and miscro sd card support while most Flagship phones do not. Even so, if you shop around, I doubt this would even beat something like say an Amazon Fire Tablet for functionality or price. Still, I would like to know if it is open source and can run Ubunto or other linux distros. I doubt the ram is above 1 gb, so a browser might not run well.
Pretty sure it’s a locked down older release of Android. More bothersome is that the advanced built-in music player, as described, doesn’t mention playlists.
This was one of Windows Phones. 3.5mm jack, micro SD slot, and a removable battery – and because it’s a Windows Phone, they were $15 brand new. I regularly wasted spent more just on catshirts!
(I moved over to Android when MS fully ended support in 2019, though.)

2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, not open source, Android 8.1 (Oreo), BT 4.2 and the player says that you can add songs to the playlist. Looks like what is installed is what you get until it gets hacked.
