Time to learn all about Keen and check out the product page for the Marshall model

I have a pair of the Marshalls. Great lightweight hiking boots. I wear them around town too.

Keen makes solid, comfortable footwear. I’ve actually worn two pairs of their low tops until they’ve completely fallen apart- easily 1,000 backcountry miles on each pair.

Review on Verdi from Gear Institute

I am unclear as to what “Fits 1/2 a size smaller than standard” actually means. If I would normally wear an 11-1/2, do I need to order an 11 or a 12?

Order up!

Hmm, last summer I purchased a pair of keens. they lasted about 6 weeks before I had to sew and glue them back together.
I checked the Keen website, and discovered that their return policy is worthless.
But! they seem to work for some people, maybe it’s because I have large feet. . . .

Verdi 2 boots…great boots for me…I have wide feet and I bought a size 13 last year…I always wear a 12 wide…these were perfect…I have worn these for many miles of hiking and walking…feel like I should grab these for this price…so I just bought another pair…great deal…best around as I can see. Keen shoes are great…WOOT has a great price…people you should grab a pair for this cost!!

In case you are wondering I found these run true to size. I am an 11 and I bought and 11 from a retailer.

Two reasons you might order up 1/2 size:

  1. you wear thick socks
  2. feet tend to swell during the day, walking and hiking even more so. If they fit fine in the morning, they’re going to be somewhat to quite uncomfortable in the evening.

I wear 13 or 14’s (depending on brand), and I’ve had a couple of pairs of Keens that have lasted for years. Very comfortable and durable for me. Wife also has several pair.

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad pair.

My husband wears these shoes all the time, sadly I missed this deal to surprise him.

I’m wearing a pair of KEEN Marshal Forest Night shoes right now that I bought at REI in December of last year for $120. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned in a long time. Sadly I didn’t get to the site soon enough today to get another pair in US 11. (Hint hint wink wink to anyone in woot that loves me)

As a note, I usually wear a 10.5 sometimes 11, so these guys run a little smaller than normal.

Cabelas has these for sale for the same price and in sizes that are sold out on Woot.

Cabelas shipping for me was nearly 11 bucks slow boat. Though there is more selection, if you’re not near a Cabelas store, then WOOT may be the best bet if you want to save a few bucks.

When is the florescent color trend going to go away in shoes? It’s almost as dumb as the hat trend in the early 90’s.

It’s my personal preference only, but I prefer my outdoor clothing to have “color” to it, other than greens, grays, and browns. You never know when you’re going to need extra visibility.
