That was quick, now time to root and CyanogenMod 13 !

How does your look? Good quality Refurb?

It looks new no scratches on screen or body.

I received mine today, box damaged. Not sure if its related or not, but the flash has a nice crack right through the lens. I’m sure this will be easy to resolve.

I’m so sorry to hear that! Please get in touch with customer service by using the Support Form linked at the top of the page.

The phone boots as a t-mobile phone, I put in a att sim and mobile data doesn’t work, all settings are enabled, restarted couple of times still can’t access mobile data,

That’s not good… I guess I better test that out on mine before I return/exchange it!

Tried with a second att sim, no luck yet…

Its not an AT&T phone, so you have to manually enter the APN settings. See here:AT&T - Customer Support Center

Once you do that and then select that APN, you should have data/text/mms

Unless you are putting in T-Mobile sim, you will have to manually enter the APN settings for the carrier.

BTW, I ordered two phones. One looked like new. The other has a hairline scratch on the screen. Does Woot have any more of these to possibly replace the scratched unit or would it be return/refund option only?

I am waiting for an answer to that question as well… I am not hopeful.

You’ll need to reach out to support@woot.com with your order info and situation; CS can check into your account and options.

Followed the instructions in the article to add apn, saved and rebooted, phone still can’t find the mobile network.

Did you actually select the APN after you saved it? The little circle next to the APN (NXTGENPHONE) should have a dot in the middle.

Yes, it’s selected( turquoise radio button) , mobile data option is checked under mobile networks, the APN strings match the ones in the support doc.

If the SIM came out of a working phone and the service is current, then I guess you have a bad unit.

You might try going by the AT&T store and see if they can help. Perhaps they could give you a replacement SIM to try and/or make sure that something in your account is not preventing this phone from working.
