Lock & Lock 26-Piece Set

Do these nest well? Anyone?

First!

Follow-up? Can you actually fit 2 dividers into 1 of the containers? Why are there 4 dividers for a box there are only 2 of, if I’m reading the description correctly? Edit: never mind, closer look at the picture says yes.

No, mine don’t nest, but I really love them, they are truly leak proof. I can take soup in them, no fears. They’re my favorite storage containers. Great sizes, too.

most do nest but without the lids on. I used to store them nested with the lids on a different shelf but its too much of a pain to find the right lid.

These are the best plastic containers since sliced bread, nesting or not.

I prefer Tupperware over the Lock & Lock, however this is far cheaper than Tupperware by a long shot.

I like to think of Lock & Lock as the “Chevrolet” of storage containers. Where Tupperware is an Escalade and Rubbermaid is just a Pinto =/

They take up a lot of space if you plan on keeping them stacked in a cupboard, however they are useful for things like storing arts and crafts in, and the air tight seal makes them great for geocaching without having to worry about rain.

If T-----ware is an E----ade, and these are C–vys, would these be considered as a Su----an?

I ordered the last woot Lock and lock deal. I was very disappointed with the durability of the lids. After 4 uses, the flaps began cracking near the edges. One has completely broken off rendering the lid useless. The company boasts 3 million bends, but that has not proven true so far.
When the lids are not breaking, they do work well and provide a very good seal.

Although they’re pretty good quality, I did notice that after washing them in the dishwasher the lids were harder to close. It says “dishwasher safe” but I recommend washing by hand if you want them to last.

If this is a 26 piece set counting the lids why do the pictures show about twice that many.

These are awesome! I had one of these filled to the brim with soup that slipped and fell several feet onto a very hard kitchen floor. Not a drop was spilled.

Hmmmm tempting very tempting…could really use those dividers…

Hmm. Does anything funky happen to the seal if you freeze them?

I freeze mine all the time, I’ve had no problems.

I think the doohickeys on the left side of the picture showing everything are the 4 dividers.

26-Piece Set (13 Containers with 13 Lids) Plus 4 Dividers. That makes 30 pieces total. Love math and reading!

What exactly makes these the “most purified containers Lock & Lock has ever made”? I believe all previous sets were BPA free - do they have some other terrible chemical that will kill us slowly while these don’t? MUST BUY!

I believe they recommend that you should be gentle with the actual tabs when they are frozen as they are a bit more brittle than at room temp, but the silicone seals aren’t affected.

I have a bunch of the small ones. They have held up well, and they haven’t discolored over the years.

Are these NSF rated?
