Well, you could say that for just about ANY higher-end premium product e.g. Apple, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover (ask an owner why their hubcaps keep getting stolen). I have tried the ‘no-frills’ or unbranded stuff in the past, and I prefer to pay a little more for quality and excellent design. Why do you think Kitchen-Aid mixers are so pricey yet still the top seller?..

So by your logic, woot! has convinced you that their logo has made this higher quality cast iron than the other mentioned EXACT skillets without the logo. I guess marketers CAN pull the wool over the eyes of some. ROTFLMAO
This will make our 4th cast iron pan and 1st 12" - also, the first we’ve ever purchased new. For the others, we scoured yard sales until finding old school pans in okay shape and brought them back. This will be a nice new adventure - without needed to scour rust!
In for 2 - one as a gift.
Also, this is my 69th woot! Somehow, that makes me smile.
I own this pan and I love it! Admittedly, I got it much cheaper at Target - I think it was $20.
Made in the USA, lasts forever; I’ve had it about a year and it’s only gotten better. I might want another one…and this one has the woot logo! Still not sure if I can justify the extra $15 for the exclamation mark…
When “Woot branding” a f(r)iend (i.e. on the forehead), make sure the logo would be upright upon slamming…and the skillet fiery hot, for the desired effect.

69th Woot and 96th quality post… what are the odds? Congrats on both!

The people complaining about the price are probably NOT the people who bought the woot monkeys, or the woot-off lights, and to a lesser degree, shirts with the woot logo. Essentially, you can quit your whining, as you are obviously not the target demographic. It’s memorabilia. Have you never seen the price on logo’d merchandise? Check out officially licensed NFL shit. That stuff’s crazy expensive AND usually poor quality (cause they want you to buy more each season). At least woot! Partnered with a quality manufacturer in Lodge. If 10 dollars is too much for you to pay for custom merchandise, the go buy it elsewhere and quit complaining.
On a side note: Hey woot! I bet if you teamed up with Apple and put their logo on this and charged double what other skillets went for, you’d make a fortune.
Heard back from the person in the know on these pans. She says…
“The bottom of the pan is virtually flat and no different from other Lodge pans.
These pans are not made for use on glass top or induction stoves… these pans are best used on gas and electric stovetops.”
I’ll just leave that here and let you draw your own conclusions.

You’d need to paint the logo white. Or maybe just having a white handle cover would be good enough.
I have been wanting to stop at the Lodge store in Pigeon Forge, TN but just haven’t had time. So this will solve that, it comes to me. And has the Woot logo. I’m happy!

Now that you’ve responded, I still don’t believe it, based on the photos. Can you get a mention specifically about the ring, as most of the bottom would still be flat except for it?
My collection includes Grandma’s pans and a few that are much older and required structural modifications to my house.
Gotta have this skillet. The woot! logo is worth extra to me because my pans hang from a rack in the middle of the kitchen. I’ll get to see the ! every day.
Do have a question, all my other pans have a size number on the handle, not an inch measurement. What size is a 12"?
