Lost Shipment, replacement promised but not shipped?

My purchase was shipped via Amazon logistics rather swiftly as I don’t live far from the mother ship. The tracking said it was “Package delivered near the front door or porch.” but it never was. I live in apartments, and while there are Amazon lockers, some amazon drivers never/can’t use them and also never take the time to actually find the apartment. It’s about a 25-40% chance they just drop the packages off randomly out of laziness (other residents randomly find packages sitting out in the open, it’s awful how lazy people can be).

I went through the “swift” customer service process, and was promised that:
“Good news, the replacement is available and I am sending a replacement for you, and you will receive updated tracking information as soon as your item ships out. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any further questions and we’ll be happy to help.”

But this email was received early June 20th and I have not seen anything that says that the replacement has been shipped. It would be very nice to know so that I can make sure Amazon doesn’t screw up again.

So not Woot CS? Because Swift/Amazon can’t see Woot orders.

Sorry, I was being a smart ass. I did use the Woot Customer Service via email. The solution by woot customer service was the statement that I copy pasted from my email in my original post above: that a replacement would be sent. I have not received a notice that the replacement has shipped.

Actually, in my mind, I confused what you wrote with Swiship (which Amazon uses for tracking).

LOL… I wonder if that was a subliminal Freudian slip by me. I blame my mother (another lame Freud joke).

Hi there. Even though it says preparing to ship, when I look at the Amazon tracking, it says it’s being delivered today by 11pm.

I only see in my account that the original shipment had tracking number TBA3138xxxxxxxxxx. Is there another number for the replacement?
