I suggest adding googly eyes to them; it makes it look like they’re singing at you.

studiophile? is that better than audiophile??

Thank you! I wanted to say something, but I was afraid that with this crowd, it might be misconstrued ![]()
How the heck are the minimum system requirements related to these? They are speakers, right? They have RCA inputs, so they’ll work with anything that spits an audio signal out of an RCA plug, even if it’s coming from Windows Media Center, right? Am I missing something here?
What the heck are the minimum system requirements for?

I laughed and figured I would make it easier for others to see.
I have the 40’s and I love them.
My son’s had two sets of the 30’s … both went on the fritz prematurely … for no reason we could discern. And he’s really, really careful with his stuff.
This may be a time when a refurb’s a good idea - these may well have been double checked and more reliable than the new 30’s.

Deja Vu
I’m sitting here getting tons of enjoyment out of my AV40’s. I’m sure the 30’s are a good deal too!

All over again.
Bought some of these for my office many months ago - they sound very good for my ears…but I’m just listening to music in the office. They aren’t cranked (very often) and I’m not mixing music. For $60 these will sound better than anything else that I’ve heard.

I’m gonna go with “Copy & Paste Errors for $500, Alex”.
EDIT: Then again, you all could have been imagining it.
I have a pair of these and they’re an excellent value at this price for sure.
“Love Infarction” is totally one of my favorite songs!
For those of you who have this set, what are the dimensions? C’mon, woot, you listed it for the AV40s, are these the same physical size?
Here’s a url to actual specs.

Hey TT, I saw a posting for forums mod on the “Work for Woot” page. Nobody is leaving right? Also do you know, or can guess, if much experience is required? college required? I’d be willing to take a bullet for Gatzby if it means I’d get a Woot job.
I hope these speakers are good , I just ordered a couple pairs. for a couple of my puters here, One being my new Lappy for when I want to watch movies on it ![]()

I know you’re not asking me, but I think you’d be an excellent mod. You at least weren’t rude to anyone, as far as I’ve noticed.
Just my two cents’ worth.
I did my part to get us to the monkeys or BOC, I took a pair of them.
