So.

It had been over a year since I last ordered Mama Bev’s and I missed it. A lot. So when this deal came up I decided to get some more.

The three cakes arrived in perfect condition – I think the smaller sizes actually help with shipping. I stuck mine in the fridge for a few hours and then decided to eat a square (cut into nine parts) of the chocolate fudge.

That turned into eating another square of the chocolate fudge.

I’m trying really hard to not eat another square of the chocolate fudge.

I want to eat more of the chocolate fudge. It’s not my fault if it all disappears by morning.

I haven’t tried the other flavors yet but I’m looking forward to it. @MamaBevsBakery, thanks for creating such goodness.

Taste a third square to verify that the first two were consistent.

You’re fooling yourself if you think that cutting that cake into pieces is going to do anything more than assist your chewing. Look at those lonely pieces in the tray. Let them see their friends again… in your belly.

Thus far I have only tried the funfetti flavor and I didnt like it at all! I have an insatiable sweet tooth and I was really looking forward to these.sadly, It tasted like sugar and flour to me. No rich butter or cream cheese. At 51 carbs per a 3 oz serving I wanted nirvana. It was just flavorless. I tried a piece heated and one at room temp. It made No difference .
I froze the salted caramel and chocolate options. I am hoping they will be better. I will bring them to small gatherings to share, I ended up throwing the leftover funfetti out.
The cakes came in good shape, the tops were cracked as the insert said they would be.
Given the price and size, I probably won’t order these again. But , I’m glad I got to try them. I got an awesome pink flamingo T-shirt out of the deal so it was worth it!
