Another person who received product with missing components. I think there is some confusion as to what is actually missing from people’s orders. The vacuum itself accounts for everything but the charge base, power cord, cleaning tool, and boundary marker. The brushes and filters come pre installed on vacuum. I think most of us are missing just the boundary markers and cleaning tool. Unacceptable still. Also that junky travel adapter seems sketchy.
This thing is going to burn someone’s house down. The super cheap 220v to 110v adapter doesn’t properly fit in the outlet and falls out if not propped up. It also arcs when it’s getting plugged in. And this is on multiple less than year old outlets that work fine with all other plugs. Mine, like everyone else was missing most of the accessories. It’s headed back.
I didn’t even want to try it. I found a US cord which had the same Mickey Mouse connection around the house which worked since the charger is 110/220v.
Looks like this:
StarTech.com 6ft (1.8m) Laptop Power Cord, NEMA 1-15P to C5 (Mickey Mouse), 10A 125V, 18AWG Laptop Replacement Cord, Laptop Charger Cord, Laptop Power Brick Cord - UL Listed (PXT101NB3S) https://a.co/d/6uoI5TD
I was excited to receive a cleaning robot at such a good price, until I received my Neato and it was DOA. The battery wouldn’t charge, not even for a second. I think Woot got a batch of obsolete robots and they tried to get what they could for them. Mine is being returned.
My D85 is also missing the boundary markers and at least one of the brushes. However, out of the box I am getting error 4000, 4022, and 4023. Guessing the LiDAR motor is bad.
Hi there. we’re aware that some of you are missing parts to your BotVac. We’re looking into this with our vendor. In the meantime, please reach out to eWoot! Customer Service and let them know exactly what parts you’re missing.
For those that aren’t working, please reach out to Woot Customer Service as well. Let them know if you prefer a return for refund or a replacement (if possible).
I received it (original box in great shape), plugged it in (euro adapter), found the power switch (the bin on this is soooooo difficult to remove) switched the language from German to English, removed an old wifi network and then added it to mine.
Yesterday I ran it through a first run and it mapped the house (floor plan showed up on the Neato App)
Honestly, it was so much better than my (2) Xv-21s (which I just remembered I purchased refurbished from Woot! back in 2016) that I was actually excited.
Then this morning it’s suddenly getting the dreaded 3-cycle 4000 errors.
And I’m just not willing to take the thing apart to see if by chance I can fix it (there are several potential fixes to be found online for this. I tried blowing off the sensor with canned air and a factory reset but every other one requires “surgery.”) The LiDAR is spinning though, so it might just be the LiDAR calibration thing that popped up in my search…
I filled out the CS form like TT mentioned. Here’s hoping I can get another one (it is a Botvac Connected according to the app) that works, but I’m not hopeful. I’m sure Woot! will eventually hook me up with a refund without an issue, but after yesterday’s run, I had really started to like this thing - and for $90 it really felt like a steal.
I ended up getting a botvac connected. It’s running great, but I want to buy another for my second floor and cannot find one. Also, I didn’t get some of the side accessories…
Hi there. Can’t help you right now with the purchase of another but for the missing items, reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
