Weird…literally purchased LTE/WIFi model16 days ago for slightly more on woot, $79.99 instead of $69.99.

Will this work with android phones? Like the note 10 plus?

These are brand new, so if you DO decide to go for a first gen Pixel Watch, you’d need to decide if you want LTE or not. (This listing has both, but with colour limitations.)

(Personally, when I had this watch, I only had the Bluetooth version, because my phone plan didn’t support LTE watches. When I upgraded to the 2nd Gen, I paid slightly more for the LTE capability, and around that time, Google Fi announced that all plan tiers were getting free watch service, so I was happy.)

Google will only guarantee updates for 3 years after it was released in 2022.

So security updates will likely stop October 2025.

The cheaper one is what I am looking at

LTE model is $68.89 NEW from reputable eBay seller.

If you buy something that is older and cheaper and will get fewer updates in the future… You’ll get what you pay for. It’s worth considering getting a slightly newer model that will get updates longer.

I bought the earlier $79.99 one. But it had problem to set up “Tap to Pay”. I took it to Google Store, and they couldn’t fix it, they suggested me to returned.

(Flashing the stock firmware and) relocking the bootloader, should resolve that message.

Though if you bought it new, it shouldn’t have had that issue out of the box.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Perhaps someone added a customized firmware (like one of those malignantly-modified USB flash drives that people leave in company parking lots, in order to steal data/credentials), and then sold. Or, alternatively, an entity could have obtained a number of the things from a legitimate seller, modified them in that manner, and then returned the things, at which point, they went right back onto the market.

That’s partially why I mentioned flashing stock firmware. :slightly_smiling_face:
