these look EXACTLY like the pattern of diningware we used to have when i was growing up. i doubt it was Oneida though. but it brings back memories
This is the set I bought a year ago. Nice weight when holding. Nice set.
Would totally buy this in another pattern if it was available.
I bought this exact set from Woot a few months ago and it is excellent! Very sturdy, good weight, no dings or imperfections at all. If you want classic looking flatware that will last for years, you’re not going to find a better deal than this.
Can I get one of only forks. It seems mine have a tendency to disappear. While my spoons seem to multiply.

Heh, I always buy 2 sets when I get new flatware. That way I have a spare set from which to restock. My problem is remembering where I put the spare set though. I found mine when I moved 2 years ago so I was able to stock up on forks again!
I’ve seen 18/10 flatware a few times for sale but was always too lazy to look up what “18/10” meant. Just in case you wanted to know Here’s a short read
TL;DR the 18 is the %of chromium (the stuff that prevents rust) and the 10 is how much nickel is in it. That’s the stuff that makes it shiny.

The nickel does not “make it shiny”, it adds rust and corrosion resistance. That’s why cheap 18/0 Chinese stainless steel often times will still rust, whereas something like 18/10 is much more resistant.

I have no self control, so they would all go out at once, resulting in the forks I have taking longer to disappear and the spoons reproducing until they take over the house.
I don’t know why the spoons and forks can’t reproduce together and make me some Sporks.

- The “18” refers to the chromium content, which gives flatware its rust-resistance properties, and the “8” or “10” refers to the nickel content, which gives it its silver-like shine and some rust-resistance*
Sorry I guess I should find a better source for my information next time.
I wish it were a complete set with small knives in it too. Otherwise, it looks excellent
FOUR!!!
We can now get FOUR of something???
(Woot, today I fell in love all over again . . .:

My thoughts, too. In sterling:
They look copied! Sorta.
Image didn’t work. It’s the eloquence pattern of Lunt sterling I was referencing.
Bought a set two years ago - never regretted it. outstanding product and this price is better than I paid for. Great wedding gift.
I purchased these last time they were offered, but it was a different pattern.
They are awesome, well worth the price and it just happened that we desperately needed a new set.

Same here.
It’s heavy and nice but HUGE! The forks and spoons are worthy of feeding giants. I bought this, hoping to replace an old set. We have Oneida stainless from 40 years ago in a similar pattern, I consider those pieces normal sized for normal appetites. Beware - the soup spoons are as big as serving spoons! Now I have to find a wedding to be invited to…
