A normal Peloton limited warranty covers the touchscreen for 12 months, the frame for five years, the components for 12 months, the pedals for 12 months, and labor costs for 12 months.
Does this version sold by Woot! only cover all of these items for 90 days? Or does the Woot! warranty sit on top of the standard manufacturer limited warranty?
Hello. Only the Woot warranty is valid. It would cover all the things.
What is the monthly or annual fitness plan? From the news articles I’m reading, the company is shifting it’s focus to service subscriptions, so that means this bike probably won’t be much good without one.
For those interested, and thank you Woot for listing the part numbers, it appears that this bike is the Gen2.
To be clear. This Peloton does not come with the 12 month Peloton manufacturer warranty?
Correct.
If you don’t intend upon payng the 45ish a month this isn’t the bike for you. I have one at my house, one at my parents house, and a tread plus and I can say without hesitation that the sub is worth every penny. Also, the strength classes are pretty good.
I wouldn’t worry about the warranty that much- we haven’t had any issues, but ymmv.
To save $400 would be worth it if I needed another, or I’d search marketplace and find one of the many being used as clothes hangers in my local area.
Just my .02.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the warranty with a well made product.
“Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of s*%#. That’s all it is, isn’t it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will.”

The os is android so I read you can side load apps on it.
How hard is the set of the bike once it arrives?
