Perfection 11 Piece Knife Set with Cutting Board

Not folded steel. No woot.

/sarcasm

I bought a set of these last time Woot had them. The knives are a little flimsy, but work fine for the money. The ‘cutting board’ is just a piece of wood. It isn’t treated or anything, so I just added it to my lumber pile. There is no way I would have actually cut food on it!

Cutting boards aren’t supposed to be treated. Running mineral oil over it once every other week or so is enough to protect them.

The lady will have the McNuggets!.. Im in!

Also mineral oil is a natural laxative, so that’s handy.

In for one. Almost passed cuz it didn’t have a block, but remembered I can use my existing block after tossing the old cheaper knives.

This are Henckel-guts, right? I love the description: “German style”.
Sheesh.

sellout dude

These are total crap. Don’t get them, it’s a total rip off. The board is not even painted. It’s the cheapest plywood. It’s going to rot right away. The fork in the picture is so thin that when you pick up anything it bends immediately. This is one of those chinese imitations like the binoculars without optics. The scissors are plastic with this metal inserts super glued to the plastic. It’s not molded into the plastic they way it’s supposed to be. I bet you, it’s just going to rip off after a few uses. I bought it a couple months ago and was disappointed. The first woot that really failed miserably. I bought some of woot’s other kitchen knife offerings and they have always been reasonable to good quality. But this crap. Stay away. It’s so bad you can’t even give it away. You can only do one thing: trash it.

all the way to the butt for a full tang
giggity giggity giggity goo

You have cheaper knives? Sheesh. As a professional, I’d rather have 1 good knife at three times the price. Sorry, Woot.

Excellent choice, Sir^…Sharp pointy things scare me

Bought a set of these a while back. Pretty cheaply made, and dull as all get-out…comes with a sharpener though, so be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease on these babies

Maybe treating isn’t the answer, but they could have at least sanded the thing. If you wipe it with anything, you’re likely to get splinters!

The one the had back in April was 16 pcs. Included 6 steak knives. Was the same price. Different brand, though, but looks identical. Hmmm.

Most wood cutting boards are just a piece of wood. Sometimes they are rubbed down with a bit of linseed oil, but that’s it.

In fact, they are actually safer than other cutting surfaces…

Looks like the bolshevik think this deal is bad. I’m not buying then, I really wanted to though. But what’s the point when I have to trash it later.

You should NEVER let a todler play with these. If one of the handles comes apart it could be a CHOKING hazard!

So now we’re buying fish? I’m confused… ><

No storage block… no deal…

They have an auto-editor installed that changes words like c_ rap and s*** to something else when it recognizes it…

I bet these are PC compatible. Specifically for my ACER notebook. POOP
