I hope I would never need this. Can’t imagine anyone buying this “just in case.” It reminds me of my employer’s optional cancer insurance. Just in case. 
Which leaves me no choice but to ask: Who are you and why are you buying this?
Well, after 10 days in the hospital with septicemia I was discharged with a picc line, which I had for the next 6 weeks. So I could have used one. Or, I could have used a plastic bag and duct tape, which is what I did. But you’re right, while I have a mental list of “things I’d like to have if I ever found a really good deal” (which pretty much explains why I’m on Woot in the first place), this isn’t on that list.
I could understand its usage for that. Or even a for a sleeve tattoo. That’s the only thing I could think of to warrant buying it in advance.
