I had to test it and can confirm 
With thumbs up it appears and shows a highlight around what I had selected:
With frown face, not so much (but it does show a counter for the reaction at least!)

If it doesn’t shake out, I may remove confetti ball and see if that fixes it.
I seem to remember it took a bit for it to shake out when I turned these on.

I guess the clapping works in almost all the same scenarios as the confetti ball. Minus WAD applications.

A non-descript box has been left on myt doorstep and it says it comes from MailRoom - Apollo in Seattle. I think I know what this is. I am about to open it…
Oh look! Shirt tags in my size!
The pile is roughly two inches thick on my desk so I may not have enough fingers or toes to count them on, but I’ll come back to that. Excavating past them, I find;
1 Large Green t-shirt with the words “Won’t Last Forever.”
Still more shirt tags and then…
1 3 XL Pink t-shirt that informs me “We Are Woot!”
Still more tags and then
1 XL White T-shirt that says “No.” which is a pleasantly negative attitude considering we are still dealing with Covid 19 (I have endeavored to stay negative!)
