Ooh dang, I want one of these.. should I get it?
12% of all reviews are 1/5 stars, that’s pretty bad and speaks to the non-existent quality in this product.
Only 69% of reviews are 5/5 stars, again, very bad. Don’t buy kitchen/electronic equipment with horrible reviews like this.
Get 3.
One to keep in your closet, one to use, and one to keep the unopened one company.
79% are 4 or 5 stars vs 17% for 1 or 2 stars. That’s not bad IMO.
you are joking, but I did that with my keurig machine(bought 2). I found out that model was discontinued. It has yet to break after 8 years.
a 20% failure rate in a product is okay to you? Wow, I have a bridge to sell to you sir.
What makes you think I’m joking?

Bad reviews don’t always mean a failure of the product.. people can fail in their understanding and/or usage of a product and then rate it poorly even though it’s their own fault.
Or they were sent the wrong thing, broken in shipment, etc.
A lot of the times many the bad reviews make it clear that their dissatisfaction is due to user error so I dont always believe them.
I sometimes flip phones, and a few times, not many, but a few, I’ve had people want to return them because they were broken.
In most cases, it was solved by simple troubleshooting. (Another time, there was buyers remorse, and it was a pain, since I couldn’t sell the phone as unopened anymore.)
I’ll never understand why some people put so much faith into things other people say on the internet.
There’s a return policy for a reason. It could be the best thing you’ve ever purchased, but if you listen to that guy who complained his crocs let his socks get when when he walked through wet grass, you’ll never know if it was or not.
The ones that kill me are when there was a problem with UPS/FedEx/USPS/whatever and they rate the product 1 star so they can complain about the fulfillment. You definitely have to read the reviews carefully and make up your own mind.
Somebody one got angry at me that their package was delayed in transit by a day.
