Rexing V1LG Dual Channel 1080p Dash Cam

Rexing V1LG Dual Channel 1080p Dash Cam

Hey guys, HEY this is <Trump) HUGE !(\Trump>
This thing is amazing!
Did you see that it has a gravity sensor?
OMFG a real GRAVITY SENSOR!!!
Begs the question though, is this a torsion plate acceleration device, or an angular momentum differential device?
Better yet does this assume a standard 6.6745 × 10^−11 (m^3/kg)/T^2 or 6.6744?
Because, if is the former, then it would be possible to have a huge accuracy jump in neutrino detection with a continent/global-wide sensor network of these devices.
We could save research agencies millions of dollars and vastly improve detection percentage.
If we can get a 60% discount on 4mil units, I can get a GoFundMe backing of the face value.
That $192mil in profit can go to finance operation and data collection/analysis.
Who’s with me?

Just say’in

Different model. Just sayin’.

The model we’re selling is $139 on Newegg.

And you put your apostrophe in the wrong spot.

Looks like a newer model, that connects to your phone and transfers videos over Wi-Fi, and has the ability to record parking lot incidents. Uses a different sensor with a lower f-stop so presumably better low light capability. Seems better to me. I don’t want a lcd on my dash cam.

One of these will record the front and rear, right? How difficult is installation?

The rear camera plugs into the front one. The wiring is long enough to route it so it isn’t in the way. There is a sticky attachment for the windows and the cameras slide into them.

Also, it will record separate videos for the front and rear.

Install is super easy. I ran mine along the headliner all the way to the rear. Mine was a little harder because I have a hatchback, but the entire install took about 45 minutes. If you’ve ever done a hard wire radar detector install, it’s basically the same thing.

As for the cameras, they’re pretty good. I never had to use my for anything, but I do take the microsd card out from time to time to make sure it’s still working.

I bought the earlier Eaglo and then ordered their suction cup mount (which did not fit but I filed off the tabs and super glued to it)! Hate that windshield mount for the front!

The Newegg link provided earlier is the model V1P and it does have an LCD screen as well as Wi-Fi. It’s also available on Amazon for $129.98.

There is a slightly higher price version of this on Amazon. I have it on my Wish List and was considering getting one sometime. Two of the differences, besides the price, are that the other one has 1080p video for both front and rear cameras and an f1.8 aperture for better low light recording.

Anyone ever try this mounted on a bike?
Lots of uncool drivers these days

I’ve had this model camera for over a year. It’s easy to install and use. The only problem I’ve had with it is one day it started acting weird and would turn itself off, but a quick reset and the problem was gone. One thing I don’t like about it is the plug for the rear camera, where it goes into the main camera doesn’t fit perfectly.
