At this price I’m assuming these are the same previous irons that went on sale and it was determined that they’re made in China and not the Germany ones going for around $100+

The access line is made in China, yes. Maybe they won’t leak because the made in Germany ones I’ve bought three of all start to leak, soaking what I’m ironing all of a sudden.

Referencing the link from mother, it does appear to be made in China.

I too had to throw away a expensive German-made Rowenta because it would start to leak making it counterproductive as I was spending too much time drying out the round drip marks than actually ironing
