Any thoughts on this? Never bought a refurbished item on woot before.
I’ve bought a bunch of refurb stuff from Woot, never had any issues with it. Everything has been good/great quality. That being said, reviews on this unit in particular are pretty mid. 3/5 stars or 7/10 ratings from most places at best. It’s 3.1 by default, 5.1 simulated, and bass isn’t that low even with the sub. So personally I would pass on this but not because its refurbished.
I ordered one, decent price and it pairs up with my Samsung TV according to the manual, and I don’t have any sort of sound system so I figured it’s better than nothing. Worse case, I gift it to someone and get myself something better.
Finally got to take it out and try it however it does not turn on. I am so upset Don’t know if Woot is going to do anything about it. The unit even came with a power cord that was cut down so you can see the wire. I was able to connect the sound bar only but it will not turn on.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
