Samsung S22 Ultra 5G w/ S pen - Unlocked (Refurbished)

Thoughts on real-world aesthetics for these refurbs? Screen scratches?

I know if I buy “excellent” from BackMarket, it’s nearly flawless. And I can deal with some light body scratches, but anything on the screen would drive me batsh1t crazy.

TIA.

I’d love to know how long Samsung is going to support this phone with updates.

Imho and experience updates ruin the phone and destroy the camera. Speaking from relative experience, and forced updates. What is your opinions/experiences on updates?

I bought one of these on July 18th and it loses connection. We tried esim and physical sim and it just won’t stay on the network (tmobile).

I am days away from missing my exchange window because I log in with my amazon account because I don’t have access to the email I signed up to woot with years ago. Is there a support person who can point me in the right direction here?

Here’s information on how to update your Woot! email address:

Email, email! Have you updated your email?

You’ll want the section entitled:

Getting help updating your email address on your Woot! account.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

EDIT - RESOLVED. ADMINS TO THE RESCUE!

Very disappointed.

It arrived unable to connect with the S-Pen. CS offered me $141 refund, which seemed fair, even given how expensive an OEM replacement would be.

After my case and screen protector showed up a couple of days later, I finally took it out of the house - only to discover the phone wouldn’t make calls. It wasn’t reading my network chip.

I called again, and given that it would need a new motherboard segment, they offered me another $150 - and sent me an email as confirmation therein. It was literally a written promise, which basically covered necessary repairs.

The same CS folks in India are now refusing to issue the promised second refund, even though I’ve already paid Cellaris for the necessary repair.

Talk about going back on your word, after I’m out the time, money, and emotion for receiving a defective unit.

I like this phone. I researched it for months before I jumped on this one (instead of going with BackMarket). And it took 3 days to set it up to match my old phone.

I’m pretty pissed. I see no incentive to continue here, if this is the way you treat anyone - let alone a 20-year member. :rage:

I’m gonna go poke some people.

I don’t know what you did, or who you poked, but holy crap, it worked!

I don’t want to jinx the final stage of the process (it hasn’t fully processed as yet), but you’re my hero. I can’t thank you enough.

Further, I’m happy to delete my above, if you’d like. I see no reason to chase others away, if it’s not absolutely necessary. Especially given how many people I’ve tried to attract to this site over the years.
