Samsung S22 Ultra 5G Unlocked w/ S pen (Refurbished) (Open Box)

I do not recommend this phone. As my current device, it has evolved into the bane of my existence. With no help from Samsung, I discovered that android web view (an essential preloaded app that enables your apps to function properly) is the main culprit to the endless issues that plague my phone. The only fix I’ve been able to figure out is to uninstall the updates to web view, and use the beta version. However, through trial and error, I’ve discovered that before doing so, one must clear the storage and cache of most apps (including all Google apps) individually. Also, the beta version is buggy, despite its weekly updates. This wouldn’t be so bad if I only had to do this once (or even once in a while) but the battery life of the phone is crap, so it dies often, even when I plan ahead. When powering back on, the original version reinstalls itself, so the process must be repeated again. The original version also occasionally reinstalls itself when the phone hasn’t died. (Probably when it has an update) Other major issues include: the phone occasionally won’t let me call or text anyone. It says emergency calls only. This happens when I’m out and about and I could be wrong, but I suspect it has something to do with the phones inability to correctly switch from WiFi to cellular. It also has issues when switching to a new wifi network or from one wifi network to another. On top of all that, the phone isn’t all that spectacular in the first place. I purchased my phone when it first came out, and the camera was all hyped up. It’s mediocre, at best. As mentioned, the battery life is not good at all. The phone gets overheated often. Oh, once, when I was out with my kids, the camera just stopped working altogether. I noticed my phone was extremely hot, and let it cool down, at which point it did start working again. But at that point, we were already heading home, and the photo-op I had been looking forward to that day had passed. All in all, this phone is a major disappointment, and even at clearance prices, is just not worth it. My partners a32 works so much better, and it cost $1k less. Go figure.

I’ve had this phone model for years with no issues.
