Does compatible with TMobile & AT&T mean it’s only compatible with those companies? Will it work with any company including overseas?

I got this same deal about 3 months ago. The phone was in great shape with only a little sear shown around the corners. The charger was broken though and I had to get a new one (about $5). Overall happy with the phone.

I have had an S5 for a little over a year, good performance. Runs circles around my wife’s HTC.

I’ve had this phone for about 6 mo. now and really love it. I installed CyanogenMod-13 on it and I can get 2 days on a charge compared to under 1 with stock firmware. Went canoeing this weekend and had the phone in a baggie which did a really good job of letting water in and not letting it back out…the phone survived. I had to take the back off and dry it out and it started working correctly again, hopefully it keeps going.

It’s GSM unlocked. We can’t research every carrier so we mention the two main ones in the US.

There’s a link in the features for you to look up other carriers.

Does anyone know the phone’s model? Is it a G900T, G900A, or something else? From the list of supported frequencies it looks like a G900A but it would be nice to know.

It’s in the title.

Samsung SM-G900T Galaxy S5 GSM Unlocked 16GB - Scratch & Dent (

I got this same deal the last time around and my phone is total crap- worst phone I ever had and I completely regret buying it. I have major issues with lagging, it shutting off on it’s own, camera not working, among many others issues.
Beware of refurbished phones, it’s a crap shoot.

from the looks of it, there is no band 12, which is needed for optimal T-Mobile service. It will still work, but just realize you wont be getting the VoLTE signal strength that has really improved T mobile reception for long range and signal penetration.

Always use when in doubt.

These have a 90-day Woot warranty. Please use the Support form linked at the top of the page to contact customer support for assistance.

Right! I got one too and the charger (or cable) was bad. It looked brand new but no worky, what’s up with that?!

I’ll stick with private sellers on eBay. I’ve bought from these bulk sellers in the past and I have never been happy with the quality. Bought my wife an iPhone 5s two years ago from a bulk seller and paid top dollar for it and the phone was in horrible condition. After three exchanges I asked for my money back. No Thanks… Buyer beware.

I would buy this but it only gets 4G LTE coverage in US. A lot of spots around me only have 3G :frowning:

They didn’t have a replacement so I got a $16 refund.

I also purchased one of these scratch and dent S5s a few months ago. It was functional, but the screen as well as the rest of it was in horrible condition. The corners of the glass are peeling up and the screen itself is heavily scratched. Knowing that it’s possible to receive a phone in that poor of condition will keep me from ever buying another scratch and dent phone from woot.

Good phone. Use them at work, outside, and they survive a lot of abuse.
Regarding reception, signal, etc. I work overseas on rotation and have phones for here, and phones for there. This phone works in Europe, but not.great because some of the frequencies are covered, but not all.
Regarding band 12. It does make a difference having that coverage depending on your location and especially your topography/geolocation to towers. I have a newer Nexus for personal use and the S5 for corporate and the S5 loses signals in valleys and buildings, but when I check signal pro, I am hitting band 12 with the Nexus, so it does make a difference.
Basically if you live in or near a relatively populated area, and want a durable phone for a good price, I say go for it…

Having an extremely bad experience with this item, I feel obligated to comment every time it’s offered.

The unit I got was completely trashed, had been dropped several times on a hard surface, bezel and case was in horrible shape. They clearly just replaced the screen and sent it out for sale. These appear to be warranty claim phones.

The charger and USB cable are NOT OEM, it’s some cheap knock-off garbage. The battery you will get is not new, so who knows how long until you need to replace it.

If you need a back-up S5 as an emergency back-up, maybe, but with the lottery of phone condition; to me this purchase is worth $90-100 MAX.

Prepare to be disappointed and if you’re ok with that with no expectations, then go for it. I sent mine back immediately.
