Is it still in your cache by any chance?

This is what I get, a redirect to:

First, I will say I would not trust a radar detector that comes this cheap.

Now, on the other hand… I have a $300 Escort (not the fun in the middle of the night kind, mind you) and it can pick up a radar at least a mile ahead and it has worked flawlessly until about 10 days ago when I was nailed by a smart little piggy. It was 10pm (in other words, dark out) and he did not tag me until I was just about to pass him. I never saw it coming. Now my lawyer gets $75 to get me out of the ticket, which is far better than paying the $300 fine.

Long story short, if you must speed, get a real radar detector and be prepared to still get caught occasionally. So only do 100+ MPH in broad daylight so you can see them bastids hiding in the median.

EDIT: To clarify, the Escort still works perfectly. And it did go off when the cop hit me with radar. But by the time it went off the signal strength bar was pegged at 100%.

That looks perfect for holding down my pile of napkins I keep in the glove box.

Yah login works again!

This one looks like garbage. I bought the last one, but it looked like a decent radar detector and you can easily resell a good Cobra detector for $50-75 on CL, so if it’s crap, I won’t lose anything.

The laser detectors kill me; by the time you detect it it has hit your car. All it will tell you is that you are getting a ticket. Radar is a different story.

And no, hanging a CD from your review mirror wont stop the laser.

Got a very bad, but thorough, review at amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/Sensoro-RW1100-Speed-Tracker-Detector/dp/B000MDHM6K

People no likey… but it is really cheap.

These are sooo 2001.

Nope, VA is that backwards state that still does not allow these.

great…illegal in our state.

I’m cheap but I’ll never figure out why anyone would risk a $100-300 ticket plus a bump in insurance rates by trusting in a $15 no-name detector. There are things to go cheap on and things not to cheap out on and radar detectors and replacement heart valves are things not to cheap out on! Detectors are very much you get what you pay for.

I’m in for one, $14.99 with the code. I don’t depend on a radar detector and wouldn’t pay a lot for one, but for $14.99 what the hell, it may save me when I’m not paying attention some day.

And yeah that amazon review isn’t good, but it’s only one review.
