By whom is it refurbished, and am I correct in reading it’s got a 90 day warranty on that refurb?
This item comes with a 90-day Woot warranty plus there’s an optional extended warranty available. Details in the listing.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
Please note the debacle from a few weeks back on a pressure washer. This was a different manufacturer.
Briggs & Stratton Gas Pressure Washer (Refurbished) - Deal Chatter / Clearance - Woot
Woot gave a lot of people the run around, long delays between emails, some got refunds, some offered credits, and some asked to return.
Mine showed up today. It’s in great shape from what I can tell. I haven’t had a chance to start it yet.
Got mine today. Engine is completely locked up. I pulled the spark plug and the cylinder looks like the titanic.
My pressure washer arrived yesterday. This was my second purchase of a refurbished item from Woot and will be my last. Both times the items were delivered in a cheap cardboard box without any packaging material inside the box to protect the items. A plastic bracket to hold the wand onto the frame was broken off. I’ll contact the Simpson company today to see if I can get the part replaced, but I have my doubts as the manufacturer warranty states it does not cover “reconditioned” units. I have purchased many refurb items from other places and those always have solid packaging. Price is nice on Woot refurb’s but not worth the aggravation.
Mine showed up smelling like gas… opened box and gas leaked all inside the box, shocked the shipping company delivered it
Finally good weather today to try to start it and boom, not starting at all … was low on oil, added oil added gas, my easy start Honda just isn’t starting
What a disappointment and waste of my time
Update: I’ve used mine twice and it’s been awesome so far. Starts on the first pull.
