- Up to 10+ total hours of battery life. Up to 3+ hours of battery in buds. What does that even mean?
I think that theyâre factoring in rechargeableness from the case into the total battery life.
(Please note: I donât work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
I bought a pair of JBL recently and that was the impression I got from the similar language on those.
I got these about 2 years ago during a Black Friday sale. They are pretty good. I use them solely for my laptop when I am watching Apple TV, YouTube, Zoom conferences, or messing around. I have not used them beyond 3 hours in a row. They work really well and am pleased. Sound wise they hold up to my AirPods 2 and almost to my AirPods Pro. They fit my ear better than the Pro. Am thinking of buying this to give as a gift. For this price, they are a good back up pair for when your other need charging!
I bought as a gift for a kid and hope he likes them. He tried the AirPods type style but they wouldnât stay in ears well enough and as a kid Iâm not investing $$$ until heâs more mature. Glad these have good reviews.
Can someone help??? I canât figure out how to get this deal!
Thanks!
You can only get this deal if you login with an active Amazon Prime account.
Is there any particular issue which you are having?

Welcome to Amazon.com, where you can only amazon items with your amazon prime account for amazon prime things. Oh, but using an alias of woot.
This is dumb. Woot is getting worse and worse. I wasnât sure that was possible. ![]()
I reworked the wording a little bit. Let me know if you still have questions.
Google tool, number one, these were available for everyone a while back on the main page. Number two, if you donât like not getting the extra deals that prime members get with woot being a part of our glorious overlord, then maybe you should consider a prime membership.
I justify it by watching Amazon TV, itâs like Iâm paying for a streaming service that gets me free shipping on Amazon.
We scooped up a couple sets of these a while back, they work nicely. Good sound quality, clear and easy to connect.
Iâve had Skullcandy headphones for a couple decades now almost, and they never seem to disappoint.
These âtrue wireless stereo bluetooth earbudsâ all recharge in their included case, (hence the âtrue wirelessâ branding, as you never plug in the buds themselves,) so here the buds alone are rated for 3 hours of continuous use (at a given volume level and type of usage,) and then with recharges from the case, you could get 10 hours total (so a little over 2 additional full recharges.)
That being said, both of those numbers are particularly bad, even for the price. I mean at $14, so what, these are basically a throwaway set, but keep in mind that even if you never use your wireless earbuds for more than 2 hours at a time, eventually the batteries will degrade so youâll be at that 2 hour mark on a full charge soon enough, and then it only gets worse from there. And although these are basically disposable like I wrote from their price alone, these TWS earbuds in general are destined to be e-waste after a few years max as theyâre not intended to be serviced.
For comparison, âcurrentâ TWS earbuds generally get 6+ hours on a single charge (so you can see why these getting only 3 hours is pretty embarrassing) and at least a few recharges from the case (and there are some freak sets out there with a large case that have a USB-A output port and can power other devices, promising something like 200 hours for the buds alone.) One set that comes to mind are the Creative Outlier Air; the âV3â model is $50 on Amazon right now and is rated for 10 hours on one charge with 40 total, so 10 total for the Sesh is pitiful.
10 hours total with the case, 3 hours per charge. That is way below average battery life, of course itâs also being sold at a discount.
But basically you got 3 hours of battery and then you can charge your earbuds two or three more times to get a total of 10 hours before you need to charge the case
Yeah, the jlab Epic Air models can go for 15 hours per charge and 75 hours per case. Granted those are giant ear hooks but still, 3 hours per charge and micro-usb explains why this is only 13 bucks.
I think they are a good pair of starters for a tween or older kid. The brand is not completely âcringe worthyâ compared to the AirPod knock offs online. They canât remain in their heads forever bc of the battery life. Plus, if they lose one, the adult in charge can be frustrated but not freak out over only having half of a 200$ set of earbuds!
Thxđ
The $59 regular price tag seems pretty inflated to make this look like an amazing deal
Welcome to the world of MSRP.
Very good point
As Iâve written elsewhere recently, ignore the MSRP, the only price that should concern you is the current one.
