Versonel 6-Quart Electric Pressure Cooker Stainless

The manual linked to above does say that the inner pot is stainless steel.

Looked up the UL certification number, looks like the same company manufactures this pressure cooker and the Instant Pots.

Guangdong Midea Consumer Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd.

UL Certification Number E214884

I too Love my Instantpot.com
I was thinking of holding out for the eight quart instant pot. Hoping to get some specials on black Friday /cyber Monday.
I wish there was a way to confirm that this is the same as the instant pot… The comment earlier saying that there’s no sauté function… That’s the deal breaker there, for me anyway…

Wow!

Thanks for reading my blog! No, you do not have to put the lid on the pressure cooker. When you first plug it in, push the keep warm/cancel button, and this will turn the cooker to HOT, which is perfect for sauteing. Then just dump in your onions and garlic with a dash of butter or oil, and saute like you would in a pan or dutch oven. You won’t hear the normal hiss of a pan, but just keep stirring and give it a minute – i promise, it will saute!:slightly_smiling_face:. I hope this helps, and happy cooking! You can SAUTE in this cooker the above post is from their website!

Instant Pot has very close duplicates as they are made to Instant Pots specs by a company that makes their own pressure cookers in a factory that produces other brand(s)

I have IP-Smart instan pots. (bought for myself and gifts)
Are spectacular.
Can probably pick them up around end of next month/beginning of December for $120-$130 as last year.

Or the IP-DUO60 for $60-$70 as last year.
