Vinturi Deluxe Wine Aerator Set

[QUOTE=ThunderThighs, post:5, topic:358464]
Welcome back! FYI: this outage was caused by severe storms in the NE that took out the Amazon Web Services (AWS aka Cloud) and affected many websites such as NetFlix, Pinterest, Skype, and more.

Another reason why I say that “the cloud” is one of the biggest scams since memory foam. “sure, here’s my data… my businesses lifeblood… you take care of it, I trust you”.

Anyway, to stay on topic… is there a difference between the white and red aerators? I have the red one, bought on a previous woot.

do they come with an attachment for box wine? :wink:

I have a Metrokane Rabbit Wine Aerating Pourer from a previous Woot and like it very much. Does this have any benefits over that? It just looks like a fancier way to present the wine at table rather than aerating it any more than smaller, less showy devices. Or am I way off?

You are spot on. The Vinturi is “cool art” to display on your wine counter. If you’re happy with your Metrokane aerating pourer, there’s no need to switch.

Thanks! :slight_smile:

I got my red wine deluxe aerator set today and I am disappointed. Those who said to skip the stand, you were absolutely right. I was so extremely slow at pouring and the wine came right out the side holes. It really makes no sense. I noticed that it only happens if you don’t keep the stream directly centered. It is hard to do that and hold the bottle of wine at the same time. You arm gets pretty tired. I guess I can call it my arm workout for the evening…

On another note, MY TOWER ARRIVED CRACKED AND CHIPPED. LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED POORLY.
