We have this in our laundry room for our ironing board, iron, mops, etc. It’s not going Anywhere. Very solid. You put it up against the wall, mark where the corners are, put in anchors, screw into place. Couldn’t be easier. My wife did it by herself while I was at work. The smaller (1") hooks aren’t very useful unless you really have small things to hang.
I installed this last winter in my garage and as others have mentioned, it is very solid. I only have two issues … first is that the slots that the peg board pieces go into aren’t well cut making inserting and removing of the different pieces difficult. That was mainly a problem when first setting it up as I was moving things around looking for the best arrangement. The other issue was it was difficult to have something span between the two panels without careful measurement and placement. Not a big deal but did require some tweaking especially considering the first item made it hard enough to insert the peg board thingies.
But I am very glad with the results and highly recommend. Also, Amazon sells all kinds of kits for this pegboard system if you want to go all out
I bought a set of these from a big box building store to install in my small retail store. I’ve got 6 panels, 3 of the shelves, bins, and miscellaneous hooks – some provided with the kits, some are 1/4" purchased at same big box building store.
I LOVE IT!!! I have been able to hang merchandise and move it around easily with these. All six panels were super-simple to install (hardware was included) and they look so much nicer than the pressboard peg-boards you find most places. Plus, they’re easier to clean/dust and being able to have shelves AND hooks on the same panel is fabulous. I’ve had a lot of people ask where I got them because they’re so stylish and useful.
I have the gray/silver panels but I know they come in red, white, and blue as well (if you can find those colors in stock). And they hold a LOT of merchandise without bending/bowing – gives me a lot of display/storage space.
Now I know where I can place a quick order for an “expansion pack” – right here at tools.woot.com – and at a even more affordable price than the big box building store!!
