WOOT - did I get a first this time?

ETA: GOT IT!! BOO-YA!! HA!

Got 2 last time around and finished 1 already. This is really excellent Zin, for those who haven’t had it.

Are you kidding me?? no NH ???!?!?!?!?!

What gives??? All the great wines go elsewhere? argh!

Wellington. No brainer!

I love me some great Zin. Aside from a few 2005 CT reviews, the 06-07 have nothing.

How is this stuff? What makes it a step up from the normal Wellington Zin?

Is it like a Scott Harvey old vines zin or ?

oooh just bought the tytanium wish i had this vertical also just because this is probably in its drinking window.

To bad this isn,t 3 bottles of the 05. Has anyone got any notes from the last time this was on woot?

Wellington Zins are a no-brainer.

Non estate '05 and '07 are both wonderful (auto-buy, in bulk), Meeks hilltop '07 from a month or so ago is awesome (and proving hard not to drink down quickly).

I can’t wait to see how the estate vertical plays out…

AUTOBUY

Zin…my favorite…

This is becoming one of those epic wine woot-offs. Not sure I have the restraint, but I’ll chew on this one for a little bit - pretty sure I loved the last set

In for two! Been waiting for Wellington. I’m going over budget here.
Worse part I might not be done! great woof off.

anyone have any suggestions on how to condcut a vertical tasting with friends? any way to score, keep track, compare, etc.

thanks

i “EARNED” rattage on the last offering… the 2007 was very tasty but young… I would imagine it has matured into something VERY VERY tasty now…Sadly I only have A bottle left. If memory serves the 2006 was supposed to by drink well at the time though. I wonder how it is now (i drank mine)

My husband and I are usually more into the white wines. We’re now just breaking into the red wine scene. Can anyone offer some comments on Zins in general? Also, just wondering how dry these might turn out (I’m generally not into wines that are too dry).

I did too, only one Ty, two wellington at this price point. hard to say no, as I’d get an instant approval from the mrs.

Picked this up (x2) in July, joined their club, first to Woot (x3) on yesterday’s Wellington. Woot (x3) here. Flat out a no-brainer buy, especially at these prices.

I suggest tasting blind, number the bags, and everyone take notes without talking about them. After tasting all of them, reveal and discuss.

These will be dry.
