Great deal… Steel gas cans are the only way to go, especially now that the plastic ones all come with those crappy spouts with the valves in them. Trying to figure out a reason I need another 5 gallon steel gas can to justify the purchase. What I really need is a smaller one for the gas for my 2 cycle stuff.

I bought 2 of these last time…they came with no damage…very nice cans…they sell for $49.00 at youtr local TSC…The yellow spout does slip off and on…you just have to grasp it good and twist it while you push or pull on it… These are nice no hassle funnels with these units…buy em boys and girls…

Much better than the new “safety” spouts that really aren’t. However, on the two that I bought, the paint on the bottom rim immediately came off, leaving bare metal vulnerable to corrosion.

I bought three of these last year when Woot! offered them, including a 2.5 gallon one for two-stroke gas, and have not been disappointed - soooo much better than plastic containers with ‘safety’ spouts…

This is the best gas can you will ever buy. I bought this for the same price on woot last time and the quality is spot on. The fact that it doesn’t have the BS environmental,spout that other cans have makes it easy to work with. Great buy!

I bought 3 cans in previous woot! offering, and one arrived dented. woot! said they would give me a refund - never did. I like the cans fine - but did not like the lack of customer service follow up - or the dented can.

I was about to buy this when I realized I switched to an electric mower this year and now all of my tools are battery powered

I believe these cans have the little flame arrester screens in them. The plastic ones don’t and can turn into gas bombs in your hand. Just saw a news story on this the other day. I’m switching over to metal cans and tossing my old ones.

I bought 3 from Woot once upon a time.

GREAT gas cans- arrived in perfect condition. No complains, these things are far better than the crap that passes for plastic gasoline jugs nowadays.
